However, in suffering through the 1fps gameplay, I did discover a few things: the fps drop only occurs when the camera is facing north or when you are in the upper right quadrant of the map I'm less sure about the second one. It works perfectly for me I can't get mine to work either, though at least I can get into the game? Everytime I get past the security room of the Administration Level of Peragus, the fps drops to 1. I check Task Manager, and it says that KotOR II is running as a background process, but there's nothing happening on the desktop, including no game icon on the taskbar.
